Rogelio Zavala

Rogelio Zavala, P.E. has extensive experience in power plant operations and engineering, currently serving as the Power Plant Operations Superintendent and Senior Power System Engineer at Austin Energy since September 2009. Responsibilities include developing and managing Quality Assurance and Control programs, conducting non-destructive testing, and overseeing large projects and outages. Significant contributions include designing systems to improve equipment efficiency, implementing a Boiler Strategy Plan, and enhancing safety measures through root cause analysis. Previously, Rogelio was the Lead Engineer at Decker Creek Power Station, where engineering decisions focused on safety, budget, and efficiency.
