Rakeda L. Ervin

Rakeda L. Ervin has a diverse work experience in the field of media production and education. Rakeda is currently serving as the Director of Community Education at the Austin Film Society. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Media Production at The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, where they developed and produced marketing and academic development content. Rakeda also worked as a Story Producer at The SpringHill Company and as a Field Producer at ITV. Rakeda has a background in education as well, having taught audio and video production at Manor ISD and Liberal Arts & Science Academy. Rakeda has also worked as a Producer at Essence Communications Inc. and held positions at CNN, Megalomedia, and NBCUniversal, Inc.
