Majida Kargbo

Majida Kargbo currently serves as the Director of Education at Northwestern University, leading a team focused on transformative learning experiences. Previously, Kargbo held positions at Brown University, including Assistant Dean of Career Services and Professional Development and Assistant Director of Professional Development, where career counseling services for graduate students were developed. Kargbo has extensive teaching experience, having lectured at institutions like Rhode Island School of Design and Rhode Island College on topics ranging from popular culture to Afrofuturism. With a Ph.D. in American Studies from Brown University, Kargbo's research intersects digital media, race, and gender, highlighting marginalized bodies' representation in media.
