Sarah Jones

Sarah Jones has extensive experience in film education and youth mentorship. Currently serving as a Film Club Teacher’s Assistant at Austin Film Society since August 2018, Sarah supports filmmaking lessons for elementary students and focuses on fostering confidence and communication skills. Previously, Sarah was a Service Member with AmeriCorps VISTA, where responsibilities included co-instructing filmmaking classes, expanding program enrollment, and developing a community service learning class. Earlier roles as a Teacher's Assistant at various facilities within Columbia College Chicago and as a Writing Tutor at The Learning Studio contributed to a strong foundation in educational support. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Video from Columbia College Chicago, earned in 2015.
