Kerryn Ireland-Jenkin has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Kerryn started working at Austin Health in 2006 as a Pathologist and eventually became the Medical Director of Pathology and Deputy Chief Medical Officer. Kerryn also held positions at the University of Melbourne as an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer. Additionally, they worked as a Honorary Consultant Gynaecologic Pathologist at Mercy Health Australia and served as the Treasurer for the Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. Kerryn was also the Head of Unit for the Victorian Perinatal Autopsy Service at The Royal Women's Hospital.
Kerryn Ireland-Jenkin holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Melbourne. Kerryn also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Deakin University, obtained in 2016. Kerryn furthered their education by completing a degree in Anatomical Pathology (FRCPA) from the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2000. In 2016, they acquired a Master of Clinical Leadership degree from Deakin University. Kerryn has also completed the Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) program from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2014, specializing in Governance. Currently, they are pursuing an Advanced Leadership Program focused on Organizational Leadership from Women & Leadership Australia (WLA), starting in 2020.
