Amy Bassett-Wells

Amy Bassett-Wells is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate at Therapy-Tree Counseling, employing an eclectic therapeutic approach under the supervision of April West since November 2024. With extensive experience in education and counseling, Amy has worked as a Professional School Counselor for Austin Independent School District since July 2018, and previously held positions including Observer/Coach and Early Childhood Mentor within the district. Amy’s early career included teaching roles for grades K-7 and serving as an Educational Specialist. Amy holds a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Lamar University.
