Deanna Romanowski Mendoza

Deanna Romanowski Mendoza is an experienced Professional School Counselor with a comprehensive background in PK-12 education. Currently serving Spencerport Central Schools since July 2021, Mendoza has previously held similar roles at Dr. George Washington Carver Elementary School and Hammond Central School District. Responsibilities have included serving as the McKinney Vento Liaison, District Testing Coordinator, and Master Scheduler, as well as involvement in various committees and the coaching of modified soccer. Prior experience encompasses a position as a Residential Counselor at Parsons Child and Family Center and graduate internships at multiple educational institutions. Deanna holds a Master of Science in Counselor Education/School Counseling from The Sage Colleges and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from SUNY Potsdam, with ongoing education at SUNY Brockport.
