Andrew Ochoa

Andrew Ochoa, RTSBA, currently serves as the Director of PEIMS and Data Quality at Austin Independent School District, a position held since October 2023. Previously, Andrew was the Director of Student Information Systems/PEIMS at Plano Independent School District from June 2022 to October 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing the Student Information System, ensuring data quality, and managing state and federal reporting. Andrew's extensive experience in data management and reporting spans over a decade at Socorro ISD, where roles included Information Services Team Leader, Student Systems Administrator, and PEIMS/Attendance Specialist, focusing on compliance, data accuracy, and training. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from Park University and an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology Systems from El Paso Community College. Currently, Andrew is pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration at The University of Texas at El Paso, expected to complete in December 2025.
