Jola Khan

Jola Khan, SPHR, SHRM-CP, is an experienced human resources executive with a strong background in leading HR departments across various educational institutions. Currently serving as Executive Director of the Office of Professional Standards at Austin Independent School District since April 2024, Jola previously held the position of Executive Director of Human Resources at Southlake Carroll ISD. Jola's career also includes significant roles such as Director of Benefits, Compensation, and Culture at Arlington ISD and Director of Talent Management Operations at Uplift Education. With a robust expertise in employee relations, policy implementation, and compliance with employment laws, Jola has successfully overseen HR operations, developed strategic policies, and improved employee benefits and retention programs. Jola holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management from Mercy University.
