Katie Sepeda

Katie Sepeda, M.Ed., currently serves as a Secondary Mathematics Academic Coaching Specialist for Austin Independent School District since March 2023, where responsibilities include co-designing a district-wide professional learning conference and developing a district-wide curriculum for Secondary Mathematics grades 6-12. Prior to this role, Katie worked as an HS Math & Science Instructional Specialist for Elgin ISD from August 2019 to March 2023, providing professional development and coaching in alignment with curriculum standards. Katie's career also includes a position as an HS Mathematics Teacher & PLC Lead at Pflugerville Independent School District from August 2013 to August 2019, where curriculum development and implementation were key focuses. Earlier teaching experience includes a role at Tyler ISD from January 2013 to June 2013. Katie earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University in 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Tyler, obtained in 2012.
