Latonia Amerson

LaTonia Amerson, Ed.D., currently serves as the Interim Assistant Superintendent of School Improvement for the Austin Independent School District and previously held various leadership positions at Aldine ISD, including Assistant Superintendent and school principal at Eisenhower 9th Grade School. With extensive experience in education, LaTonia has also worked as an assistant principal at multiple schools, including Eisenhower Senior High School and Conley Elementary, as well as an ELA teacher at Parker Intermediate. LaTonia's educational credentials include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Sam Houston State University, a Master of Education in the same field from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin. LaTonia's earlier career included roles in real estate and human resources, along with an internship at Universal Motown Records Group.
