Robert Franco

Robert Franco is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education and community development. Currently serving as a High School Business Teacher at Austin Independent School District since August 2022, Robert teaches Money Matters and Entrepreneurship courses to high school students as part of the Career and Technology Education group. Prior to this role, Robert was the Senior Vice President at Texas Capital Bank from April 2012 to December 2022, focusing on community development lending and investment. Robert has also held positions on the boards of several organizations, including PeopleFund as a past board member and chairman, and Con Mi Madre, where responsibilities included treasurer. Previous experience includes a lengthy tenure as Senior Vice President and Client Manager in the Global Commercial Banking Group at Bank of America. Robert holds an MBA in Finance from Texas State University and a BBA in Management and Economics from The University of Texas-Pan American.
