Billy Obermire

Billy Obermire currently serves as the Vice President and General Manager of the Northwest US at Austin Powder, a position held since January 2020, with prior roles as Sales Manager for the Western USA and Business Development Manager for the Rocky Mountain Region. From 2015 to January 2020, Billy was employed at Davey Bickford Enaex as a Key Account Manager for North America and as an Electronic Detonator Specialist, focusing on electronic initiation systems. Previously, from September 1996 to August 2015, Billy worked at Alpha Natural Resources, where roles included Pit-Production Coordinator, overseeing over 40 employees in an open pit coal mine, and Blast Designer, Driller, and Blaster in Charge, managing drilling and blasting operations that resulted in the removal of over 54 million yards of overburden and the mining of 19 million tons of coal annually. Education was obtained at NE Wyoming Community College.
