Darío Macchi

Darío Macchi has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Darío has held various roles at different companies, starting in 2014. At ADG Consulting SRL, they worked as a Senior Consultant, providing practical solutions to software development companies. Darío then joined VAIRIX as the COO, Scrum Master, and QA, performing different roles within the company. Later, at Batanga Media, they worked as a Scrum Master and Project Manager for web development teams. Darío continued their career at Vix Inc., where they served as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, and NodeJS Architect. At VAIRIX Software Development, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and also managed the team as a Technical Project Manager or served as a Scrum Master, depending on the project. Darío also worked as a PM/Scrum Master at Kubikware. As a self-employed consultant, they advised clients as a problem definer and provided broader perspectives to solve their issues. Darío also worked as a Software Engineering Professor at Universidad ORT Uruguay, teaching traditional software development and agile methodologies. Their most recent role was as a Software Engineer at Stagger, where they mainly focused on API development. Currently, they work as a Developer Advocate at Howdy™, actively participating in developer communities, writing documentation and blog posts, and speaking at events.

Darío Macchi completed their education history in a chronological order. Darío first attended the Universidad ORT Uruguay from 2000 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Software Engineering, specializing in Computer Software. Following that, from 2010 to 2013, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Experimental Software Engineering, also at the Universidad ORT Uruguay.

In regards to their earlier education, Darío attended the Instituto Cultural Anglo Uruguayo from 1993 to 1999, focusing on English Literature (British and Commonwealth). Additionally, from 1994 to 2000, they gained proficiency in Basic Computer Skills at IAC-CTC-ORT.

Furthermore, Darío Macchi obtained the Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in June 2014.
