Praveen Rao

Praveen Rao is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance and risk management within federal government agencies and the private sector. Currently serving as a Senior Officer at AUSTRAC since February 2021, Praveen previously worked as a Compliance Investigations Analyst at the Australian Taxation Office from February 2018 to February 2021, and as a Risk & Compliance Officer at the Australian Government Department of Human Services from February 2015 to February 2018. Prior to this, Praveen held the position of Area Manager - Melbourne at SquareYards Solutions Pty Ltd from September 2011 to February 2015. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Accounting and Financial Planning from Bangalore University, along with studies at the Australian School of Business & Law and the International Institute of Technology.
