Emiliano Gil

Emiliano Gil is an experienced professional in the mining and metallurgy field, currently serving as the Plant Manager at Austral Gold since March 2016. Emiliano has an extensive background in academia and industry, holding the position of Head of Practical Works at Universidad Nacional de San Juan since February 2012. Previous roles include Plant Manager and Metallurgist at Troy Resources NL from March 2012 to March 2016, and Metallurgist at Mina Pirquitas INC. from October 2011 to February 2012. Emiliano began the career as Mine Supervisor at Troy Resources Argentina Ltd in 2011 and worked as a second-category assistant at Universidad Nacional de San Juan from 2006 to 2011. Emiliano gained earlier experience through an internship at Barrick Gold Corporation in 2004. Emiliano holds degrees in Mining Engineering and Metallurgy from Universidad Nacional de San Juan, completed in 2011.
