Ben Smith

Ben Smith is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in commercial advisory and business development. Currently serving as a Senior Commercial Advisor at Australia Pacific LNG since September 2023, Ben previously held the role of General Manager Commercial at North Harbour Clean Energy, where efforts focused on innovative clean energy delivery through pumped hydro projects and vanadium flow battery capabilities. Ben's career includes significant positions at APA Group and Jemena as Business Development Manager, as well as a Commercial Manager role at ATCO Australia. Early experience includes senior analyst and economist roles at Origin Energy and BG Group, respectively, where Ben honed skills in gas supply and demand portfolio planning and economic analysis for upstream projects.
