Melanie Russell

Melanie Russell is an experienced professional in visual media and photography, currently serving as the Deputy Photo Editor at Australian Associated Press (AAP) since October 2012. In this role, Melanie oversees news gathering logistics, planning, and image delivery, while previously working as a Visual Media Production Archivist/Researcher responsible for image processing and archiving. Prior experience includes working as a press photographer for Fairfax Media and News Corp Australia from 2001 to 2013, covering a variety of news topics, events, and commercial projects.
