Bridget Kerans

Bridget Kerans is a highly experienced Senior Spectrum Planning Engineer at the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) since June 2006, overseeing projects such as the maintenance of the Low Interference Potential Device Class Licence and the review of the Australian Radiofrequency Spectrum Plan. Bridget has held leadership roles in various capacities, including Team Leader for the Space Systems Section, where the focus was on developing technical policy for licensing procedures, and Team Leader for Spectrum Review Implementation, managing planning and engineering inputs. Additionally, Bridget served as Chair of the Australian Radiocommunications Study Group 1 from April 2010 to October 2013 and worked as a Tutor in Radiocommunications Engineering at the University of Canberra. Academically, Bridget holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours/Bachelor of Commerce from The Australian National University, various qualifications in aviation, accounting, project management, regulatory economics, and training assessment, illustrating a robust and diverse skill set in engineering and aviation.
