Dr Simon Crook

Dr. Simon Crook is an experienced educator and leader in science education, currently serving as the Founder and Director of CrookED Science since January 2015, where the focus is on professional learning and curriculum support for K-12 schools in Australia. Dr. Crook holds the position of NSW Branch Executive at the Australian Council for Educational Leaders and is an Honorary Associate at the University of Sydney, engaged in research and collaboration on science education initiatives. Additionally, Dr. Crook has extensive experience as a reviewer for multiple academic journals related to science education and previously worked as a Senior eLearning Adviser at the Catholic Education Office, Sydney, impacting over 2500 teachers across various educational initiatives. Academic credentials include a PhD in Physics Education Research from the University of Sydney, a BSc (Hons) in Physics from The University of Manchester, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Warwick.
