Emma Lonsdale is a seasoned policy analyst with extensive experience in health policy and advocacy. Currently serving as Principal Policy Analyst at the Australian Education Research Organisation since October 2022, Emma previously held the role of Senior Policy Analyst in the same organization. Prior to that, Emma was the Executive Officer at the Australian Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance from June 2016 to October 2022, where leadership was demonstrated by uniting five health organizations for chronic disease advocacy. Emma also contributed significantly as a Senior Policy Officer at Cancer Australia from July 2011 to June 2016, providing strategic advice and improving cancer outcomes through evidence-based policy work. Earlier experience includes roles as a Project Officer at the National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre and in various marketing capacities at the University of New South Wales. Emma holds a Master of Health Policy, a Graduate Diploma of Science (Psychology), and a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Psychology from the University of Sydney.
