Jenny Donovan

Jenny Donovan is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Education Research Organisation (AERO) since April 2021, previously serving as the Director of the National Evidence Institute, which preceded AERO. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director of the Centre for Education Statistics and Evaluation and General Manager of Planning and Innovation at the NSW Department of Education from 2008 to July 2019. Prior to this, Jenny was the Deputy Director of Educational Assessment Australia at the University of New South Wales from 2005 to 2008. Jenny Donovan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in History from the University of Sydney, a BA Dip Ed in English and History from Macquarie University, and a Master of Arts with Honours in Philosophy from UNSW.
