Toby Wright

Toby Wright has extensive work experience in the government and technology sectors. Toby is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at the Australian Electoral Commission since June 2022. Prior to this, Toby held various roles at the Australian Government, including Director Digital Experience from November 2020 to June 2022, and Director Cloud Engagement and Strategy from June 2019 to November 2020. Toby also worked as a Director at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet from December 2015 to June 2019. Toby's earlier positions include Director of Business Services at the Digital Transformation Agency from March 2015 to December 2015, and Assistant Director at the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy from March 2011 to February 2015. Before joining the government, Toby served as the General Manager of Operations at TISC from December 2001 to October 2010.

Toby Wright attended the Canberra Institute of Technology in 2003, where they studied CERT IV Training and Assessment.
