Clare Dale has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Clare has worked in marketing and communications roles for several prominent organizations. Clare started their career as a Sponsorship and Marketing Executive for the Canberra Raiders from 1998 to 2000. Clare then worked as a Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator for the Australian Psychological Society from 2001 to 2002. Clare's next role was as a Marketing and Sponsorship Consultant for Elite Sports Properties from 2002 to 2005. Clare then worked in the Internal Communications department of Tabcorp from 2005 to 2006. Clare also worked as a Media and Public Relations Account Manager for Lexus in 2006. Clare then joined the Australian Rugby Union as a Senior Partnerships Manager from 2006 to 2011, where they managed major partnerships and sponsorships. Clare further worked as a Marketing Manager for Brisbane Marketing from 2014 to 2016, where they implemented CBD growth strategies. From 2016 to 2017, they provided marketing and commercial services as a consultant for major sporting and tourism events. Clare joined Bank of Queensland in 2017, where they served as a Marketing Manager and later as a Senior Marketing Manager until 2020. Currently, Clare is the Head of Game Development Engagement for the AFL, leading a team focused on promoting participation and engagement in the game of AFL at the grassroots level.
Clare Dale obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications (Marketing) from Griffith University from 1996 to 2000. Clare also received a Track & Field Scholarship, representing Australia in Heptathlon, from 2000 to 2003 at the Victorian Institute of Sport and the Australian Institute of Sport. Prior to these higher education experiences, Clare attended St Rita's College Clayfield from 1990 to 1994, where they completed their HSC.
