Dan Richardson

Dan Richardson currently serves as the Head of Umpiring at the AFL - Australian Football League since January 2021. Prior to this role, Dan held the position of General Manager Football at Essendon Football Club from January 2018 to October 2020 and at Richmond Football Club from March 2013 to December 2017. Dan began their career at Elite Sports Properties, where the role of Associate Director was held from November 1999 until March 2013. Dan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Victoria University and a Graduate Diploma of Business in Sports Management from Deakin University.
