Kirstie Fitzgerald

Kirstie Fitzgerald is an accomplished publicist and communications consultant with extensive experience in the sports and media sectors. Currently serving as the AFL Publicist since January 2019, Kirstie promotes elite men's and women's football and various national programs. As the Freelance Communications Consultant at KF Communications since July 2020, Kirstie provides media management, communication strategy development, and digital content creation services. Prior to these roles, Kirstie was the first full-time female Community Media Manager at AFL Victoria, driving innovative media processes, and the Media and Communications Manager at the Western Region Football League, where significant engagement improvements were achieved. Kirstie's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Swinburne University and a Bachelor of Photography from RMIT University, alongside participation in leadership and talent programs.
