Madeline Penny

Madeline Penny is an experienced leader in the Australian Football League (AFL), currently serving as the General Manager of Game Development and has held various pivotal roles since August 2015, including Head of Community Football Operations and Investment, Head of COVID Compliance and Football Projects, and Women's Football Growth and Development Manager. Madeline has a strong background in strategic development, particularly for the AFLW competition, and has contributed to significant organizational transformations in prior roles at The Boston Consulting Group. Additionally, Madeline serves as Deputy Chair on the Board of AFL SportsReady and participated in the 2020 AIS Sport Executive Talent Program. Educational credentials include a Master of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) and Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Studies from the University of Otago.
