Marten Dobbie is a professional with a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2000, they worked at Certegy Ezi-Pay as a Desktop/Server support specialist, providing hardware and software troubleshooting, end-user consultation, and training. In 2002, they joined Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, where they held various roles, including Desktop Support Consultant/Support Engineer, Midrange Services Engineer (Systems Administrator), and Service Delivery Manager. In these positions, they provided technical support within the ITIL framework and managed relationships with business units to ensure service delivery and problem resolution. In 2003, Marten worked as a Supervisor at SANFL, managing staff and coordinating game day requirements. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the Manager of Data Risk Management-Information and Cyber Security at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, overseeing the improvement and alignment of the data risk management, cyber security, and information security programs. Marten also worked as an Information Technology Manager at LBT Innovations Ltd and Clever Culture Systems from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they are a Viticulturist.

Marten Dobbie began their education journey in 1997 at TAFE SA, where they pursued a diploma in Information Technology. Marten completed their diploma in 1999. Later, in 2010, Marten enrolled at TAFE SA again, this time to pursue a Certificate III in Viticulture and Enology. Marten successfully completed their certificate program in 2013.
