Nima Sobhani

Nima Sobhani is an experienced professional in cultural diversity, program development, and athlete engagement within the sports and education sectors. Currently serving as the National Cultural Diversity Engagement Manager for the Australian Football League, Nima leads efforts to create inclusive and culturally responsive experiences in game development. Previous roles include Athlete Wellbeing & Engagement Manager at Basketball Australia and strategic leadership positions at Helping Hoops and various consulting engagements. Nima has also contributed to education as a sessional academic at the University of Melbourne and has extensive experience in coaching and team management within the basketball community. Nima holds a PhD in International Education Policy and has a solid educational foundation with degrees from the University of Melbourne and the University of Toronto.
