Rebecca Conboy

Rebecca Conboy has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries and roles. Rebecca began their career as a Management Information System Assistant at Scope in 1999, where they worked until August 2001. Following this, they joined Racing Victoria as an Assistant Accountant from August 2001 to June 2002. From there, Rebecca joined Victoria Racing Club, where they held various positions. Rebecca started as a Management Accountant in June 2002 and eventually became the Senio Manager Finance and Strategic Projects, overseeing various business transformation projects until August 2014. From August 2014 to November 2016, they served as the Senior Manager Systems, Projects, and Reporting, managing the systems and applications team and acting as an SME for the ERP Project. Rebecca then worked at Carlton Football Club, first as the Information Systems Manager from November 2016 to February 2017 and later as the Senior Manager Finance, IT, and Projects from February 2017 to March 2019. After that, they joined Macedon Ranges Shire Council as a Process Improvement Officer from July 2020 to October 2020. Rebecca's most recent position is at AFL - Australian Football League, where they currently serve as a Project Lead starting from October 2020. Overall, their experience includes roles with a focus on finance, IT management, projects, systems support, and business transformation.

Rebecca Conboy has a diverse education history. Rebecca obtained a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT University, where they studied Accounting and Finance from 1998 to 2003. In 2007, they became a Certified Practising Accountant through CPA Australia.

Rebecca also furthered their education in various professional programs. In 2011, they completed the Igniting Leadership Program at Leadership Victoria. In 2012, they attended PM-Partners and completed the Project Management Fundamentals course.

In 2018, Rebecca participated in the AFL Industry Emerging Female Talent Program offered by Xplore. This program focused on developing skills and opportunities for women in the industry.

The most recent addition to Rebecca's education is their completion of Change Management training at APMG International, where they obtained the title of Change Management PRACTITIONER in June 2023.
