Carrie Chan

Carrie Chan currently serves as the Director at the Australian Human Rights Commission, providing strategic advice on policy, budgeting, and project governance. In addition, Carrie leads the Respect@Work and Sex Discrimination Teams, focusing on implementing recommendations and addressing racism in Australian universities. Previous roles include Head of Policy at No to Violence, Executive Director at the Northern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils, and various positions in governmental organizations such as the Aged Care Pricing Commissioner's Office and the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. Carrie holds multiple degrees from UNSW, including a Master of Laws, Bachelor of Laws, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Science, complemented by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia.
