Benjamin Brooks

Senior Research Fellow, Associate Professor at Australian Maritime College

Benjamin Brooks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in safety management systems, human performance, and emergency and crisis management. Currently serving as the Director at Stretch Think and as the Director of the Disaster Resilience Research Group at the University of Tasmania, Benjamin has also held positions as a Senior Research Fellow and Associate Professor at the Australian Maritime College. With a background in Occupational Health and Safety Management at the University of South Australia, Benjamin has contributed to research and training initiatives since 2009. In addition, Benjamin is a Senior Associate at SafetyCircle, focusing on workplace health and safety culture. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Monash University, and both a Bachelor's in Behavioural Science (Honors) and a Bachelor's in Environmental Science from Griffith University.
