Luke Toy GAICD is an experienced General Manager in Advocacy at the Australian Medical Association. Luke also holds the position of Director in Medical Practice, overseeing policy development, government relations, and stakeholder engagement in various healthcare sectors. With a background in journalism, politics, and public affairs, Luke has also worked at the University of Canberra and Kidney Health Australia. Additionally, Luke has served in roles within the Department of Infrastructure and Transport, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and as a Deputy Chief of Staff and Media Adviser to a Federal Minister. Luke holds multiple degrees including a Master's in Diplomacy and Public Policy, as well as a Bachelor in Communications.
