Farley Fitzgerald has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Currently, Farley is the Head of Communications at the Australian Museum, a role which began in June 2022. Previously, Farley held the position of Communications Manager at the same organization for six months from January 2022 to June 2022, and before that, served as a Communications Advisor from August 2020 to January 2022.
Before joining the Australian Museum, Farley worked as the Corporate Communications Manager at McDonald's from October 2019 to August 2020. Prior to that, Farley held various roles at National Geographic, starting as a Communications Coordinator from October 2013 to April 2015, then progressing to Communications Specialist from April 2015 to May 2016, followed by Communications Manager from May 2016 to October 2018, and finally as a Senior Manager of Marketing and Engagement from October 2018 to October 2019.
Farley also gained experience as a Brand Ambassador at KIND LLC from November 2014 to August 2017. Additionally, Farley worked as a Project Consultant at APCO Worldwide from July 2012 to October 2013. Earlier in their career, Farley served as a Team Leader for Elon University's iMedia Program at Live Oak Communications for a brief period from August 2011 to December 2011.
Farley also had internships at MSLGROUP as a Consumer Marketing Intern from June 2011 to August 2011, and within the Marketing and Event Management Team at Elon University's Campus Recreation from January 2010 to May 2011.
From 2008 to 2012, Farley Fitzgerald attended Elon University and obtained a Bachelor of the Arts degree. During this time, they studied Strategic Communications, Business Administration, and Spanish.
In 2010, Farley also had a brief experience at Universidad de Sevilla, where they focused on studying Language and Society. However, it is unclear whether they obtained a degree from this institution.
