John Mortimer is an experienced project management professional with a strong background in major infrastructure projects across Australia and the Pacific region. Currently serving as the Director of Major Projects at Australian Naval Infrastructure since June 2023, John has held various leadership roles at Mott MacDonald from 2010 to June 2023, including Major Projects Director and Managing Director for Australia. Prior to that, John was the Director of Mortimer Project Management, which became part of Mott MacDonald in 2010, and the Director at Clifton Coney Group from 2000 to 2005. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Adelaide, earned between 1984 and 1987.
