Board Member Of Indigenous Advisory Committee at Australian Olympic Committee

Brad Hore OLY serves as a Project Officer for First Nations Capability at the Australian Sports Commission as of May 2024. In addition, Brad Hore is an Aboriginal Artist, creating commissioned artworks that tell unique stories and can be found in various institutions and personal collections since June 2020. As a Board Member of the Indigenous Advisory Committee for the Australian Olympic Committee since September 2019, Brad Hore contributed to the development of a Reconciliation Action Plan promoting equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. Previously, Brad Hore held the position of Director at Boxing Australia Limited from August 2022 to May 2024, advocating for athlete development from grassroots to the Olympic level. Additionally, from August 2018 to September 2023, Brad Hore worked as an Indigenous Outreach Worker for the North Coast Aboriginal Corporation for Community Health, focusing on community engagement and improving access to essential services for Indigenous communities.

The AOC is committed to developing, promoting and protecting the principles of Olympism and the Olympic Movement in Australia in accordance with the Olympic Charter. The AOC is committed to Australia's athletes and encourages the development of high performance sport through athlete support and funding initiatives.
