Carolyn Broderick

Medical Director, Australian Olympic Team, Paris 2024 at Australian Olympic Committee

Carolyn Broderick serves as the Medical Director for the Australian Olympic Team for Paris 2024 at the Australian Olympic Committee since August 2022. With extensive experience in sports medicine, Carolyn has been the Chief Medical Officer at Tennis Australia and Team Physician for the Australian Women's Tennis (Fed Cup) Team since February 2007. Additional roles include Staff Specialist at Sydney Children's Hospitals Network, Associate Professor at UNSW, and Committee Member on the Australian Sports Drug Medical Advisory Committee with Sport Integrity Australia. Previous positions include serving on the Medical Advisory Panel for the National Rugby League and as the Deputy Medical Director for the Australian Olympic Team at Rio 2016. Carolyn's educational background includes a PhD in Medicine from the University of Sydney and qualifications in medicine from UNSW and the Australasian College of Sport & Exercise Physicians.
