Simon Kersten is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in property management and community development. As the Managing Director of Colliers International Wollongong since 2006, Kersten has established the firm as a market leader in the Illawarra region. In addition to this role, Kersten serves as Chair of Destination Wollongong, focusing on regional tourism growth, and as Chair of the UDIA Illawarra Chapter, advocating for the property industry's interests. The AOC is committed to developing, promoting and protecting the principles of Olympism and the Olympic Movement in Australia in accordance with the Olympic Charter. The AOC is committed to Australia's athletes and encourages the development of high performance sport through athlete support and funding initiatives. It is our responsibility to select, send and fund Australian Teams to the Olympic Summer and Winter Games, Youth Olympic Games and Regional Games. The AOC aims to promote, raise awareness of and encourage participation in sport for benefits of health, longevity, fitness, skill, achievement, social interaction, wellbeing and other benefits of exercise for all individuals in Australia.
