David Barker

David Barker is a seasoned professional in the field of sustainability and building physics, currently serving as Managing Principal and Head of Sustainability at Introba Australia since October 2015. With a strong focus on delivering high-performance buildings across the UK, Middle East, and US, David leads a team of architects and engineers, applying specialist expertise to achieve sustainable outcomes and enhance occupant comfort. In addition to this role, David holds several board and advisory positions, including Board Director at the Australian Passivhaus Association and Industry Advisory Member at the International WELL Building Institute, reflecting a commitment to advancing sustainable development in the built environment. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Arup and engineering positions with various companies, complemented by a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from UNSW.
