Katherine Utry

Katherine Utry is an experienced professional in health policy and management, currently serving as the General Manager of Policy and Government Relations at the Australian Physiotherapy Association since August 2024. Utry's prior roles at the Victorian Department of Health included Manager of Strategy Policy and Operations, Manager of Population Health & Planning, and Acting Assistant Director for Drug Policy & Services, among others. With a solid foundation in physiotherapy, Utry worked for various health institutions, including Melbourne Health and Alfred Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from La Trobe University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia, supplemented by leadership training from the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership.
