Mark Handby

Mark Handby is an experienced public health and safety professional currently serving as Manager City Safety at Warrnambool City Council and Public and Environmental Health Advisor at the Global Centre for Health Security, University of Nebraska. In addition to directing Sphere Public Health Solutions, Mark has held various roles with the Australian Red Cross and RedR Australia, contributing expertise in Water Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) and public health training. Mark's background includes significant experience with the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre and international roles such as WASH Coordinator in Ukraine with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Mark holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Newcastle and a Bachelor of Health Science from Swinburne University of Technology.
