Dana Assenheim

Director Of Diversity, Equity And Inclusion at Australian Sports Commission

Dana Assenheim has a diverse range of work experience in the sports industry. They started their career in 2008 at the Australian Sports Commission as a Sport Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Senior Sports Consultant. In 2013, they joined Sport Australia as a Project Manager and held that position for five years. In 2018, they became a Senior Consultant in Governance Advisory and in 2019, they were promoted to Director Workforce Advisory. Currently, Dana Assenheim holds the position of Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Sport Australia.

Dana Assenheim holds a Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Swinburne University of Technology, obtained in 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Project Management at Blended Learning Solutions - RTO in 2013. In 2007, Dana obtained a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment from Blended Learning Solutions. Dana also has a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Sports Management from the University of Canberra, which they earned between 2002 and 2005.
