Leigh Meyrick

Leigh Meyrick has extensive work experience in the field of media and communications. Leigh is currently serving as the Director of Media & Communications at the Australian Sports Commission since September 2021. Prior to this, Leigh held the position of Head of Media & Communications at the GWS Giants from November 2017 to September 2021. Leigh also worked as a Media Manager at the same organization from January 2013 to November 2017. Leigh has previously worked as a Reporter/Producer at Fox Sports from March 2012 to January 2013. Leigh also served as a Sports Reporter & Producer at Southern Cross Austereo from August 2009 to January 2013 and as a Sport Reporter at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from March 2008 to August 2009.

Leigh Meyrick attended Mater Dei College from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Communications in Journalism at Edith Cowan University from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, Leigh received a Diploma of Broadcasting in Broadcast Journalism from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
