Andy Russell

Andy Russell is a Tax Specialist at the Australian Taxation Office, focusing on Private Wealth since March 2021. Prior to this role, Andy served as a Senior Manager Indirect Tax at PwC Australia from March 2014 to March 2021, and held a similar senior management position at KPMG Australia in Customs & International Trade and Fuel Tax from June 2013 to January 2014. Andy's experience also includes serving as Account Director of Indirect Tax at Deloitte Private from May 2011 to June 2013 and Client Manager in Indirect Tax at Deloitte Australia from March 2000 to May 2011. Andy began a career in taxation as a VAT Assurance Officer at HM Revenue & Customs from September 1997 to December 1999. Academic qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in International Customs Law from the University of Canberra and a BA (Hons) in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the University of Bradford.
