Robert Kortman is an accomplished indirect tax specialist with extensive experience in the field since 1992. Currently serving at Royal BAM Group NV and Koninklijke BAM Groep nv since March 2005, Robert has honed expertise in international VAT matters. Previously, Robert held senior positions at Ernst & Young, including Senior Indirect Tax Manager, and at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a (Senior) VAT Manager, with international exposure through a placement in San Jose, USA, from 2001 to 2002. Robert's career began as an Assistant Indirect Tax at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting. Robert holds a degree in Fiscal Law from the University of Groningen, obtained between 1985 and 1991.
