Laura-Jane Evans

Laura-Jane Evans is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the Australian Taxation Office and other prominent organizations. Currently serving as Director of the Tax Counsel Network within Law Design & Practice at the Australian Taxation Office since October 2020, Laura-Jane has also held the position of Acting Assistant Commissioner in the same area. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Tax Manager at Australian Unity, and multiple positions at the Australian Taxation Office, including Director and Manager of Public Groups & International. Early career development occurred at EY, where Laura-Jane progressed from Assistant Tax Adviser to Tax Manager in Mergers & Acquisitions. Laura-Jane holds qualifications as a Chartered Accountant from ICAEW and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Royal Holloway, University of London.
