Alon Gold

Alon Gold is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and trade affairs. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager for Europe, the UK, and Israel at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) since February 2022, Alon previously held roles such as Senior Advisor and Special Advisor on Economic and Trade Policy at the Embassy of Finland in Tel Aviv from February 2015 to February 2022. Alon's expertise includes analyzing business development opportunities, facilitating cooperation between Finland and Israel, and advising on economic trends. Earlier career experiences include leading an Information and Research Center at the Israeli Mission to the EU and working as a Research Analyst at The Second Authority for Television and Radio. Alon holds an MSc in International Business Economics and Management from KU Leuven and both an MA and BA in Political Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
