Laura Kirkland is an experienced educator with a diverse background in music and social work. Currently serving as Campus Principal at Parkville College since April 2018, Laura has also held multiple leadership roles, including Acting Campus Principal, Assistant Principal, and Learning Specialist. Prior experience includes teaching and mentoring at Northern Bay College and serving as a Casual Relief Teacher at Buckley Park College. Laura founded the WeFo Singers community choir and has contributed to early childhood music education. Academically, Laura holds a Master of Teaching from Deakin University, a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Music with a focus on Music Therapy from The University of Queensland. Additionally, Laura completed a Leadership Development Program through Teach for Australia, reflecting a commitment to educational equity and leadership.

Working in collaboration with the Department of Justice and Community Safety and the Department of Health and Human Services, we deliver education across five diverse campuses throughout Victoria. Parkville College operates 52 weeks a year and caters to some of the most disadvantaged students in the state.
