Virtual Arkansas
Christie Lewis serves as the CTE Campus Principal at Virtual Arkansas since July 2021, focusing on providing equitable learning opportunities through a bisynchronous learning model. Prior roles include Distance Learning Instructor at Dawson Education Cooperative and Virtual Arkansas from July 2015 to July 2021, ELA Teacher at Ouachita School District from July 2013 to June 2015, and Distance Learning Instructor at Dawson Education Cooperative from July 2007 to June 2012. Additionally, Christie Lewis taught ELA at Goza Middle School from July 2004 to June 2007 and Business Education at Fordyce Middle School from July 2000 to June 2004. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Education, Reading Specialist from Henderson State University (2008-2014) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Henderson State University (1992-1996).

Virtual Arkansas
Virtual Arkansas is a supplemental State Virtual School (SVS) that partners with local Arkansas schools, the Arkansas Department of Education, and the local Education Service Cooperatives to provide online courses, resources, and services to Arkansas schools, teachers, and students who might not otherwise have access to these resources and opportunities. We are not an online high school or a diploma-granting institution but a resource for supplementing education for students through their local school.
