Alistair Barker

Alistair Barker currently serves as Head of Asset Allocation and Investments, as well as Head of Total Portfolio Management and Head of Portfolio Construction at AustralianSuper, a position held since June 2008. In addition to this role, Alistair Barker is a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University since 2019 and a Founding Partner & Non-Executive Investment Adviser at Reaction, which focuses on fostering innovation for societal change, since September 2020. Previous experience includes positions as Investment Director at Hastings Funds Management from June 2002 to May 2008 and Analyst at National Asset Management from December 1999 to May 2002. Alistair Barker holds a B Com (Hons) in Finance and Actuarial Studies from the University of Melbourne, a fellowship in Finance and Funds Management from the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, and completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University in 2019.
